Efficient clinical trial Project Management is the key to its success. The core of successful project management are well selected study teams with a strong team structure, close communication, and detailed status tracking and progress measurement. The Project Manager serves as a primary resource and central point of communication for the project team as well as for the client and provides leadership and direction, including identifying and assembling training opportunities, to build a performing project team.

The Project Manager needs to have the background and skills necessary to effectively manage the following important project management components:

 

  • Building relationships with clients and effective communication
  • Assessing client’s expectations and meting them
  • Effective project planning and tasks scheduling
  • Resource management
  • Risk analysis and risk management
  • Project tracking and status reporting
  • Issues escalation and resolution.
